Cova dels Coloms. Portocristo
A sea cave visit to one of the most spectacular marine caverns in Mallorca.
Description of the outing
We’ll start walking from Cala Romantica on a flat trail from which can often be seen wild goats among the local plants – wild olives, native reeds, etc. We’ll walk 45 minutes to Cala Falcó, where we’ll put on our wetsuits and other gear. Next we’ll do a 25 meter rappel (optional) and then swim to the mouth of the cave, from the inside of which we’ll be able to see age old stalagmites and stalagtites, swim in its crystal clear lakes and visit immense rooms. This highly recommendable outing is one of the most popular in the summer.
